about

Being The Dreamer grew from the the shock when lock down began and there was a sense that no one knew what on Earth was going on, and it felt to me that there was no option but to let go and trust and see what happens. It was an amazing Spring and there was a feeling like the whole world was changing, and we had space and time to be with our families and go within, face the music, and evolve. The opening lines of the song are inspired by the Hopi Elders' Prophecy, "We are the Ones We've Been Waiting For." This is it!

You have been telling people that this is the Eleventh Hour, now you must go back and tell the people that this is the Hour. And there are things to be considered…

Where are you living?
What are you doing?
What are your relationships?
Are you in right relation?
Where is your water?

Know your garden.
It is time to speak your truth.
Create your community.
Be good to each other.
And do not look outside yourself for your leader.

Then he clasped his hands together, smiled, and said, “This could be a good time! There is a river flowing now very fast. It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid. They will try to hold on to the shore. They will feel they are being torn apart and will suffer greatly. Know the river has its destination. The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river, keep our eyes open, and our heads above the water.

And I say, see who is in there with you and celebrate. At this time in history, we are to take nothing personally, least of all ourselves. For the moment that we do, our spiritual growth and journey come to a halt.

The time of the lone wolf is over. Gather yourselves! Banish the word ’struggle’ from your attitude and your vocabulary. All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration.

We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.

BEING THE DREAMER

Letting go the bank of the river,
Flowing to the Ocean.
Gaze into her eyes,
On the wider shore I will find
What I‘ve been longing for
All along.
We knew this was coming,
Been feeling my heart opening to the light
Like a flower turning to the Sun.

Beautiful blossom,
Open to the light,
Phoenix from the fire
Shining so bright.

Been here a billion times or more,
Dropped through the vortex floor before,
The door opens upon the wind,
Flying out beyond the farthest shore.

Those people in that story you were watching,
Couldn’t change the course of the narrative,
Any more than a character in your dream,
And in this life become the dreamer.

This life that we are all experiencing
Is one night’s dreaming in the life of the soul,
One night’s dreaming in our true evolution
So what to do? Become the dreamer.

Letting go and becoming the dreamer,
Observing and becoming the dreamer,
Waking up and becoming the dreamer,
Dreamer being the dreamer.

O Lord lead me from the unreal to the real,
From the darkness to the light,
From the Earth to the open sky,
Lead me from death to eternal life.
